Walking through the small town of Grand Marais in northern Minnesota you wouldn't expect to find such a vast array of extremely delicious restaurants- but they're there. The Crooked Spoon Cafe is one of the best- with an ever changing menu- dependent on the season and available ingredients- you will never be disappointed in your meal. Stop in for just drinks and an appetizer-- in spring/summer of 2015 they will also be opening a rooftop bar to take advantage of their fantastic location on the Grand Marais Harbor, as well as to showcase their great wine selection. They serve lunches all winter long, and can be a great place for a break from the cold. In the summer expect to have a considerable wait. They won't take reservations and tables are on a first come, first serve basis. It's worth the wait though, so stick around! Pictured is Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps with Dill Pickle Chips and a Bean Chili - perfect meals for the cold winter days.
