La Bobba Beach
La Bobba Beach is located on the southeast part if Isola di San Pietro with Punta du Xitta to the north and the famous Punta Colonne to the south. The name comes from the small pebbles found on the beach that resemble "bobba," a traditional form of pasta popular in Caroloforte.
The beach has light-colored, soft sand and shallow blue-green water. It's a well-known beach so it gets crowded, especially during the summer season. If you go to the left and right of the beach, you'll find some small cliffs where you can sunbathe in peace. The area behind the beach is full of sand dunes and typical Mediterranean plant life.
